Dental treatment for you and your family represents a sound financial investment for optimal health and well being. We diagnose and recommend treatment options as we would for any close friend or family member. Dr. Johnson will help to provide a comprehensive plan and phase it with your financial considerations in mind. Our goal is to help you keep your teeth for your lifetime with as low a cost as possible. Quality care is our standard; the timeframe in which it is completed in is the variable. Dr. Johnson will present all the options for you and let you decide how to proceed.
What insurance and payment methods do you accept?
We know that dental coverage can be confusing, so we will to our best to help you maximize your benefits and assist you with insurance concerns. As a courtesy, we are happy to bill your insurance company, and we can accept assignment of benefits. We can “guestimate” approximately how much coverage you have and how much you need to pay. We ask you to pay at the time of service. We take cash, check, and all major credit cards. We also provide third-party financing options through CareCredit and CapitalOne. For patients who like to save some money, we offer a five-percent courtesy when you prepay, in full, for your treatment charges one week in advance. This saves us some administrative time and we can then pass the savings on to you! Please let us know which of these options work best for you.
Our goal is to have every visit to the dentist a pleasant and comfortable one. We pride ourselves at offering painless anesthesia and offer complimentary nitrous oxide (laughing) gas. This way, you can be completely at ease while visiting our office. If you wish to be “as if you are asleep” during your visit, ask us and we can talk to you about the additional benefits of oral conscious sedation. Whichever option you choose, you can, rest assured that your visit will be pleasant and comfortable.
What kind of fillings do you use?
For over 20 years, Dr. Johnson has been a leader in Alaska in providing beautiful tooth-colored, non-metal fillings and restorations. These fillings and crowns replace the harmful and dark old mercury fillings of the past and return your teeth to their natural strength, vitality, and beauty.
