A Chance to Give Back: Upcoming Service Project in Mexico, October 15–23, 2011
We are pleased and excited to announce our upcoming service project in Mexico!
This October, Dr Kirk Johnson, Dr. Dale Burke, most of our dental team and some family members (spouses and kids) will be traveling to Baja to provide volunteer dentistry.
We will be traveling by van from San Diego, driving 7 hours south of the border to an orphanage and mission near the Village of Vincente Guerro. This is a very poor and remote part of Baja, Mexico. We will be providing dental care to the children of the orphanage as well as migrant workers and people living in the surrounding area, all of whom would otherwise not be able to receive dental treatment. There is a small medical clinic where we will work, and we will be purchasing and bringing most of the dental supplies that we will need.
We want to share our dedication and passion for this experience and invite you to participate in our service project. We feel that we are representing our entire dental practice in our service trip to Baja. It is a big commitment for all of us, as we will be donating our time, and concurrently, the office will be closed October 15th-23rd.
We close in saying how grateful we are to be a part of Excellence in Dentistry. We are grateful for you, our wonderful patients and dental associates, and grateful for this opportunity to serve in such a big way.

Trips of this nature incur a large financial commitment and we welcome any donations to make this trip possible. For those of you who wish to make a tax–deductible donation, you may do so through Restoration Resources International, (RRI). Dr Burke is one of the directors of RRI, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid, care and leadership development.
