How High Tech Helps Anchorage Dentist
To give our patients quality restorations designed to go the distance, we need the right tools. Digital X-rays, along with our intraoral dental cameras, help us show and explain a patient’s conditions and recommended treatments. DIAGNOdent allows us to detect decay early, and air abrasion enables us to conservatively and painlessly remove cavities often without the need to use a dental drill. With computerized digital imaging, we can give you the opportunity to see the results of how you look with a beautiful smile before the process begins. We also utilize:
- Technology and Lighting Center (TLC) system
This display monitor replaces bright overhead lights and can show patients what’s inside their mouths via digital images from an intraoral camera or X-rays. We can also change the functionality so that patients can watch a movie DVD during treatment.
- Three monitors in each room for comfortable viewing at multiple angles
- Digital radiography (or X-rays), this is 90% less x-ray than the old technology
- High intensity curing lights for state-of-the-art bonding of our tooth colored restorations
