I am the newest addition to the Excellence In Dentistry team, joining the hygiene department in 2015, and I felt at home right away! There are so many years of experience and training amongst the team members, and you can see its effect in the comfort our patients have when they walk through our door. It is amazing how well we stay up to date with technology and research here, and I am so excited to further my career with this enthusiastic team.

I was born and raised in Alaska, spending most of my childhood and teenage years in the northern-most city, otherwise known as Barrow. It was wonderful being immersed in so much culture growing up and being able to incorporate some of those values into my adult life now. Flash forward a few years to college, and after many years of “what do I want to be when I grow up?” I’ve found my passion: dental hygiene. You know what they say, do what you love and love what you do! Since graduating from UAA’s Dental Hygiene program, I’ve worked to further advance my hygiene education by becoming a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, completing a course in Advanced Hygiene Concepts and becoming licensed through the Academy of Laser Dentistry, all so that I may improve the care I give to my patients. My goal is to educate my patients in their oral health while delivering thorough, yet gentle care. It has been so rewarding working as a health care provider and I look forward to many, many more years serving my patients in the field I love.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, spending time with my huge extended family, cuddling with my two pit bulls, volunteering, camping, hiking, and traveling whenever I get the chance.
