Born and raised in Michigan and the daughter of a dentist, I’ve been dental assisting pretty much as long as I was old enough to pass an instrument. Dentistry has always been a part of my life. My parents had a big impact on my life. Both my mom and my dad’s constant support and positive attitudes were huge blessing growing up. I attended both Michigan State University and Grand Valley State University in the pursuit of a nursing career. However my love of Dentistry won out and I was back in the dental field after my youngest of 2 kids started school.
I am married to my best friend and buddy of over 25 years, Todd. He is a fishing guide on the Kenai Peninsula (Alaska Streamers). We have 2 grown kids in which we are very proud of, our daughter Sarah and son Cody. Along with our 1 grandson, who is our little “fisher boy”.
Having a passion and love of the outdoors, it only seems natural that we would end up here in Alaska. We enjoy fishing, hunting, hiking, exploring, horseback riding, snow machining, snowshoeing, photography and skiing. We appreciate just getting outside and taking advantage all that this great state has to offer.
With over 20 years of full time dental experience, my aim is to help make your dental visit here as comfortable as possible. I love being able to help provide the best treatment available in the most relaxed environment.
