I was born in New Jersey and my family of seven moved to Alaska when I was five years old. We settled a home site 20 miles north of Seward. Kenai Lake was a beautiful place to be raised on. Then, after completing high school, I moved to the friendly city of Fairbanks. The cold, dark, winter nights of Fairbanks drove me to the milder climate of Anchorage in the fall of 1984.
I married Tim Cronquist from Eagle River in the winter of 1989 and continued my education with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 1992. I love the opportunity that hygiene provides for me: meeting a variety of people, working with a terrific team, providing a service of health and beauty, and expanding my creative ability to empower people of all ages to truly care for themselves.
My husband and I have been blessed with three beautiful and lively children. All are attending school and stay busy with childhood activities. We have also started our own business “Cronquist Equipment”, selling auto body and industrial equipment and servicing equipment as well. Tim sells and services the equipment and I work as bookkeeper. It is a new occupation for me, quite different from the dental field, yet I am always up for a challenge.
When my life permits, I enjoy physical activities such as downhill skiing, swimming, running, tap dancing, biking, and walking. My passion is continual serf discovery, accepting others and myself for who they are without judgment, and finding balance within my life as mother, woman, hygienist, sister, friend, and bookkeeper. Life is fun, exciting, full, and all that I desire it to be.
