Dr. Dale Burke
Dr. Dale Burke graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1985. Following graduation, he practiced dentistry as an officer in the US Public Health Service serving Native Americans in South Dakota, Michigan and Alaska. Dr. Burke completed an Advanced General Dental Residency at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage from 1992-1994. After separating from the USPHS, he opened a family-oriented dental practice in Eagle River, with an emphasis on mercury free, bonded esthetic dentistry and non-surgical periodontal treatment (“gum disease”) through the use of lasers. After the sale of his Eagle River practice in 2008, he joined the team at Excellence in Dentistry as an Anchorage dentist.
Today, Dr. Burke continues his desire to remain in the forefront of dentistry through his training and skills in cosmetic and implant dentistry, and laser-assisted endodontics (root canals). Dr. Burke focuses on assisting his patients in achieving comfortable and great looking smiles in a relaxed manner. Because of his high need for adventure, he still provides dental care on a regular basis for the community of Unalakleet.
Dr. Burke thoroughly enjoys spending time with Joyce, his wife of 33 years, and his three children. Together, they enjoy just about everything Alaska has to offer. He and his wife assisted in the establishment of the Arrowhead Children’s Home in Marumba, Kenya, and make annual trips there.
